Sometimes we don't seem to be getting anywhere in life.
You move ahead, you think, but, then when you look around it seems you are in the same place you always were.
Trying to find a mate, the right job, the right school, your niche in life, can seem frustrating and many times we think maybe we should just forget about it.
We so often think we are wise in our own pursuits and just when we get to a certain point, an unseen hand steps in and blocks the way! I
believe that when you trust in God to do something, he does it if it is right for you.
If it isn't the simple answer might be "no".
Answers are not always the way you want things done or think it should be done, but, in his way and in his time and often in a way you never expected.
So when the roadblocks show up, maybe its time to think that the unseen hand has placed them there for your own good.

One day, down the road, you will look back and see what it was all about.

DeleteAnne, my name is Don Colgan, 69 years of age and recently retired. I am a writer/author and a book I have worked on for four years in scheduled to publish this fall through Arcadia Publishing. The book is titled "Historic Winter Storms of New Jersey" and features 16 of the most historical and impactful winter storms to ever to visit New Jersey. Beginning with the Blizzard of 1888 and ending with the surprise Snowvember snowstorm of November 15, 2018.
ReplyDeleteI saw an image on your site of a horse and carriage during the blizzard of 1888 and would love to have that image on the front cover of the book, as part of a collage. I wanted to obtain your permission.
Best,
Don Colgan
